January, 2013 we were notified that Dogs and Cats were getting sick from Jerky products originating in China. It continues to be a problem today. Many dogs have died. This is very serious and the source of the poison is not clearly defined yet. Do not give your dog jerky that contains, Duck, Sweet Potato, Chicken or any combination of these ingredients. The issue appears to be sourced from Chinese ingredients.  The FDA is now asking owners to help them figure out what is going on.
